Biomass To Liquids
Definition
DC, VW, Choren Industries 2003, Bezeichnung für Kraftstoffe (Biodiesel, Bioethanol und Biomethanol), der aus Biomasse (z.B. Holzhackschnitzel) vollsysnthetisch hergestellt wird. GTL-Kraftstoff ist frei von Aromaten und Schwefel. Damit sind neue Motor- und Abgaskonzepte realiesierbar (s. auch CCS und GTL, Syndiesel, Sunfuel, Biotrol).
